What we do:
83bar manages patient education, navigation, and acquisition campaigns for some of the largest, most dynamic wellness and health brands in the world. We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable, personable, and a great communicator who is capable of designing and leading high-performing paid user acquisition campaigns.
What you'll do:
We are seeking a highly analytical, strategically minded Growth & Performance Strategist who thrives in solving complex funnel and performance challenges across the full patient acquisition journey. This role is ideal for someone who can connect data, systems, media, operations, and user behavior into actionable growth strategies that improve downstream business outcomes.
This is not solely a media buying role. We are looking for someone who can think critically, identify bottlenecks, interpret performance trends, and translate insights into strategic action across the full funnel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize full-funnel patient acquisition strategies across paid, organic, and outreach channels.
- Design and maintain end-to-end patient journey maps in Lucidchart, visualizing the full experience from awareness through activation and enrollment.
- Analyze funnel performance to identify drop-off points, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve conversion and activation rates.
- Translate performance data into actionable strategic recommendations that improve downstream outcomes beyond top-of-funnel lead volume.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with paid media, creative, outreach, call center, analytics, and operations teams to align strategy and execution.
- Improve lead flow and user experience across landing pages, surveys, email/SMS workflows, automation systems, and outreach processes.
- Oversee tracking implementation, attribution logic, and data flow integrity across platforms, CRMs, analytics tools, and reporting systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot tracking discrepancies, attribution gaps, and reporting inconsistencies to ensure reliable decision-making.
- Develop performance reporting and strategic insights using platforms such as Sisense, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and CRM systems.
- Design testing roadmaps across audiences, messaging, user flows, surveys, and engagement strategies to improve efficiency and conversion rates.
- Monitor campaign trends and proactively identify scaling opportunities, performance risks, and optimization priorities.
- Support forecasting, pacing analysis, and budget allocation recommendations based on historical performance and emerging trends.
- Standardize scalable processes, best practices, and operational workflows across campaigns and engagement systems.
- Stay ahead of emerging digital marketing trends, AI tools, automation capabilities, attribution changes, and privacy-compliant tracking strategies.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare, clinical trial, and digital marketing regulations and best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, demand generation, conversion optimization, or full-funnel acquisition strategy.
- Experience in independently managing and optimizing multi-channel acquisition campaigns and conversion funnels.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, attribution models, conversion optimization, and downstream funnel metrics.
- Experience analyzing performance beyond CPL, including qualified leads, activation, enrollment, revenue, or other downstream business outcomes.
- Experience with tracking implementation, attribution logic, analytics platforms, and CRM integrations.
- Proficiency with reporting and analytics tools such as Sisense, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to identify insights within data and translate them into actionable strategic recommendations.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience improving operational workflows between media, outreach, and call center teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across marketing systems and attribution flows.
- Experience building scalable reporting frameworks, testing systems, or optimization playbooks.
Preferred Experience:
- Healthcare, clinical trial recruitment, pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated-industry marketing experience.
- Experience with survey logic, lead routing, marketing automation, and engagement workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-powered analytics, automation tools, predictive modeling, and operational optimization.
- Experience with first-party data strategies, privacy-compliant tracking solutions, and multi-touch attribution models.
